We're starting up another new Chapter!  The MidAtlantic.  Pony Girl will serve as the area director...Let's face it that chic has a pretty good track record (pardon the pun) of getting things going!

So, The Thin Blue Finish Line was started as a way to enjoy being around other automotive enthusiasts that are also like minded when it comes to the laws of the land.  If you’re like us, chances are you've been on other automotive enthusiast boards and been out to some get togethers and found many of the people there were either into illegal street racing or other similarly illegal activity.

Unfortunately, in building a law enforcement friendly community, there are some drawbacks, none bigger of course than officer safety.  Many of us live in areas where law enforcement personnel are actively targeted by gangs or other criminal elements.  To ensure the safety of our members, we've taken the following actions:

1.  The online account activation function requires admin approval and will only allow access to general areas of the forum.  Regular member will not be able to see areas specifically intended for LE Members.  However Civilian Members are still welcome to attend GTGs posted in the opern forums (most GTGs are) or LE only GTGs if specifically invited by an LE member.

2.  We have no database of accounts with members' true names.  The only thing stored on this site is your username and the email address you'll provide for account activation.

3.  Guests to this forum can only view the "Registration Information" board and cannot view any of the topics within the forums themselves.

4.  Our webhost guarantee's the security of our site and while that is never 100%, it would take a pretty good hacker to get into our forums.  Regardless, none of your personal data will be on the site unless you decide to put it there.  (i.e. posted on a board, etc.)

5.  Lastly, if you opted to email your "LE Member" registration information, once we've confirmed your law enforcement status; your information will be removed from our email servers.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to email thethinblueadmin@thethinbluefinishline.com
